Best Chefs Using Bacon to Benefit Community

Ace Burpee and HOT103 are bringing home the bacon… the first-ever Baconfest in Winnipeg!

All the proceeds from the evening will support United Way of Winnipeg through Ace’s One Man, One Hundred Thousand Dollars Campaign.

By the way, if you “like” it on Facebook, the Dilawri group will donate a dollar to United Way. And if you “like” United Way, Canadian Western Bank will also donate a dollar. Two bucks for two seconds.

Meanwhile, back at Baconfest, the finest chefs and restauranteurs in Winnipeg will create an evening full of bacon-inspired dishes, great music and awesome bacon-inspired prizes for your dining pleasure.

Participating restaurants are:

  • Bistro 7 1/4
  • Brooklynn’s Bistro
  • Cakeology
  • Chef Rob Thomas
  • Deseo Bistro
  • Diversity Catering, University of Winnipeg
