Sandias

I stared at the Sandia Mountains on a daily basis for five years, and my favorite part has always been this rounded peak. This painting was made in morning light. The colors are very different from what you see at sunset. If you look up at this peak just before the sun goes down, you'd almost think you were looking at a different mountain.
