Volcanos (not for sale)
Ah, New Mexico. This is the view you
are offered if you stand in Albuquerque and face West, with your
back to the Sandia Mountains. There are three extinct volcanos that
are populated with hundreds of wild rabbits near the Petroglyph
National Park. When I first arrived in Albuquerque, fresh from the
towering sky scrapers of NYC, I thought this view looked like a
giant had stumbled through, leaving small mounds of dirt in his
wake.
